About Us
Founders
Established in 1961 by Robert, and Doris Clark. Robert started repairing floor jacks in the workshop behind his house until 1963 when they moved to our current location. He was a factory sales and authorized service center for many American jack companies. (Ausco, Weaver, Blackhawk, U.S. Jack, Hein Werner, and Lincoln to name a few) The floor jack business was a staple for many blue collar shops throughout this country. Eventually, the floor jack market became flooded with imports and many of the American jack companies retooled for the change in marktes. From these humble beginnings, companies like Applied Power, Owatonna Tool Company, and Pine Simplex began branching out. Manufacturing industrial hydraulic tools for the same blue collar work force. Moving our hydraulic reach from automotive shops to other professional industries such as: Heavy Rail and Transportation. Oil / Gas, pipeline services. Earth Moving; manufacturing, and construction. Mining; quarrying, crushing, and distribution. Infrastructure; bridge building, lifting, and maintenance. Municipalities; water, electrical, and road depts. Power generation; fossil, nuclear, and renewable, wind, hydro, and solar.
